wild at art:

nurturing the Wild heart

Originally born in Moab, I ended up spending my childhood all around the southwest. I studied Fine Art and Biochemistry in college, graduating in 2005 with a BA from Arizona State.

After college, I continued to wander the western states, before settling back in my hometown. I feel so incredibly lucky to have always been inspired by the fierce beauty of this desert, and beyond blessed to now share this with my little girl.

Raised by an artist and miner/driller, my art and a love of this landscape and its elements are interwoven. I strive to create art as an invitation to slow down, savor the moment, and elevate daily rituals.

Much of my art is inspired by native species, mineral deposits, and erosion. As Community Artist in the Parks for 2024, I am so looking forward to building on my body of work featuring native plants, and highlighting the rock formations and erosion patterns that make the parks in this area so unique.
