Born in Moab and raised to wander, I spent most of my childhood moving every year or so throughout the southwest. I feel incredibly lucky to have always been inspired by the fierce beauty of the desert. Through the wandering, art has always been my north star.

I formally studied biochemistry and art before graduating from Arizona State University in 2005 with a BA.

My inspiration is everywhere - growth patterns, mutations of patterns, medicinal plants, petroglyphs & pictographs, mineral structures & patterns. I do a lot of layering in my sketchbook, and then try to bring it to life in the studio.

These days, my biggest inspiration comes from being a mother and getting to relive the world through eyes that can see magic everywhere. It is teaching me to slow my roll, and savor the little things. This has seeped its way into the way I approach what I make.

Each detail included in my work is an invitation to cultivate a more attuned connection to nature and our bodies, taking time to listen to what we need in order to feel nourished. I offer these as tools to carve the time and space to elevate your own daily rituals with intention.

I practice finding balance with my artistic practice and motherhood, finding inspiration in both my craft and my family life.
